4 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Bisoke Hiking Safari

This tour will take you to the home of gorillas in Volcanoes National Park where you will encounter mountain gorillas and also hike one of the Virunga volcanoes known as Mt Bisoke.

Day 1: Kigali International Airport to Volcanoes National Park.

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about this tour. You will be transferred to volcanoes national Park a journey taking 2-3hours’ drive. The park is known for harboring the remaining endangered mountain gorillas. You will check in your accommodation facility for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park and cultural encounters.

After your early morning breakfast, your driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters where briefing and activity registration is carried out, you will carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water and dressed in gorilla tracking attire, after the briefing with the park ranger guide, you will start your tracking of these rare gentle giants in their natural habitat which will take you between 4 and 7 hours.

Once you find them you will be allowed maximum of one hour with them as you take pictures thereafter you will return back to your lodge rest a bit and later you will take visit to the community to iby iwacu for cultural entertainments through music dance and drama of Kinyarwanda, that will mark the day return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Mt. Bisoke hiking

After your breakfast, you will hike Mt Bisoke with a well packed lunch and hiking gears after a briefing at the park office. This hiking activity takes 6-7 hours, and it requires someone who is physically fit to hike up to the beautiful hill because it requires walking through muddy when it rains. On reaching on the top of you will view a crater lake. You will descend back to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali and city tour.

You will transfer to Kigali after your breakfast and in case you still have time, then you visit the Rwanda genocide memorial Center which was opened in 2004 to know the history of Rwanda politics. You will be dropped at the airport hence making the end of the tour.

Er spricht sehr gut Deutsch und hat immer viele Tiere entdeckt die ich selbst nicht gesehen hätte. 
Die Tour war sehr gut organisiert. Das Land ist wunderschön. Hier gibt es schöne abwechslungsreiche Landschaften, viele Vögel und Tiere zu entdecken. Die Lodges waren alle gut ausgewählt, die Zimmer waren gut und auch das Essen war gut.

Moses was there... read more at the airport to pick us up in Entebbe in our safari van, and showed us more of Uganda’s birds and wildlife than we had any right to expect. Hundreds of bird species, 9 primates (including chimps and gorillas), elephants, giraffes, antelopes of many kinds, hippos, rhinos, and both lion and leopard. This tour was an exceptional al value and a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Epic Uganda Vacations and I, personally, will be traveling with them again.
