The nine days are fairly enough to let you explore the northern circuit of Tanzania. The trip takes you to Arusha national park for a walking safari that takes you so close to wildlife species. Visit Lake Manyara national park for the tree climbing lions, Tarangire national park, the famous Serengeti national park for the wildebeest migration and Ngorogoro crater.

Day 1: Arrival and hotel Transfer

Be picked by our knowledgeable driver guide from the airport on arrival at Kilimanjaro airport. He will transfer you to the lodge as he briefly takes you through the whole trip movements. On the way to the road, the guide will also be showing you around the different places of interest. At lodge just check in, have some relaxation, dinner and overnight in preparation for the next day.

Day 2: Transfer to Arusha national park and an evening walking safari

Wake up to a palatable breakfast and travel to Arusha national park. The journey gives you amazing views of mountain Meru and the green lush that lies along the road. Arriving at the park will be in the afternoon for lunch and some relaxation. In the evening head out for a walking safari in Arusha national park. The walk gives you magnificent views of Africa’s fourth highest mountain, Mountain Meru. You will spot several monkeys, giraffes, elephants and buffaloes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Tarangire national park

Early morning after breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in Arusha national park. A drive that will give you sightings of several wildlife species like some simple predators that were not spotted on a walking safari.

After an early lunch, drive to Tarangire national park a renowned park for its vast gigantic baobab trees and the huge herds of elephants. Tarangire national park hosts the second biggest concentration of wildlife on Tanzania after Serengeti national park.

Day 4: Full day game drive

Early morning, have breakfast and embark on a full day game drive in the park. Game drives in Tarangire expose you to countless wildlife species in just a few minutes of the drive, you will spot huge herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles and many others. The park encompasses an important migration trail, on a lucky day you will watch the famous wildebeest migration. Have lunch in the wild for a more thrilling experience. Returning to the lodge will be in the evening just for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Drive to Lake Manyara national park and an evening game drive

On this day, waking up will be still very early in the morning for breakfast and start the journey to Lake Manyara national park. This is the only place in Tanzania known for the rare tree climbing lions, several wildlife and bird species.

Reaching the park will be in the afternoon for lunch and set out for an evening game drive to search out for the tree climbing lions and other animal species. You will immediately spot the elephants, buffaloes, zebras and other wildlife species. The drive is simply worth the evening.

Day 6: Morning game drive in Lake Manyara and travel to Serengeti national park

Early morning game drive in the park to see the early morning birds, the species that wake up so early to look for pasture and prey and the nocturnal animals that go to rest in the morning. Return to the lodge for lunch and transfer to Serengeti national park, a popular park renowned for its wildebeest migration, the big five and the huge savanna plains. It’s one national park that almost all world trotters are looking forward too. Arrival will be in the afternoon for lunch and visit the maasai people. They are kind and hospitable people, you will enjoy the traditional performances and taste the local delicacy. It’s an awesome experience.

Day 7: Full day game drive

On this day you will have an early breakfast and set out for a full day game drive in Serengenti national park. This is one park where you are guaranteed to spot the big five while on a game drive. You will definitely see the rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and many others. You will have lunch amidst the wild and drive to the migration trail for the great migration watching, to see thousands of wildebeests and zebras migrating in search of the greener pasture and water.

Day 8: Travel to Ngorogoro crater

In the morning after breakfast, travel to Ngorogoro crater. Driving out of Serengenti national park also exposes you to plenty of wildlife. Reaching Ngorogoro crater will be in the afternoon just for lunch and a game drive that descends through the beautiful highland to Ngorogoro crater. You will have views of the countless preys as well as predators. For bird lovers, hundreds of flamingos call Ngorogoro crater a home. Returning to the lodge will be in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Departure

Having had a delicious breakfast, travel to Kilimanjaro airport to fly back home. That will be the end of your nine days in Tanzania.
