As a proud Ugandan born and raised near the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, I grew up with a deep-rooted passion for wildlife and nature. Being the eldest of seven children, I quickly learned the importance of responsibility and resilience. However, life took a dramatic turn after I completed high school and lost my father.

Determined to pursue a meaningful career, I initially volunteered at a local health center in hopes of securing a medical scholarship. Unfortunately, that opportunity did not materialize.

The Path to Founding Epic Uganda Vacations

Instead of giving up, I chose to revisit my love for tourism, which I had previously considered only as a backup plan. In 2010, I officially enrolled in a tourism college. Armed with a computer bag, binoculars, and a phone, I began leading excursions for nature enthusiasts while taking short courses to sharpen my skills.

Eventually, my hard work led to opportunities with reputable safari companies, where I gained years of advanced field experience. Even though the 2015 Ebola outbreak presented a massive challenge to the industry, I adapted and persevered until business resumed. It was through this dedication that I eventually co-founded Epic Uganda Vacations in 2017. Today, I am proud to lead a team that inspires young guides and shares the breathtaking beauty of Uganda with the world.
