This tour will take you to Rwanda and Uganda covering four national parks such as volcanoes NP in Rwanda, Bwindi national park, Kibale NP and Queen Elizabeth NP in Uganda. You will visit Dian fossys graveyard, your will involve in different activities such as boat cruises, game drives, nature walks among others. You will spot a number of attractions such as buffalos, chimpanzees, gorillas, Batwa pygmies, and much more. The tour will start in Kigali Rwanda and end in Kampala Uganda.

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Gisenyi

In the morning after your delicious breakfast at the hotel in Rwanda, you start off with your safari driver guide for your 8 Days amazing Adventure Safari in both Rwanda and Uganda, first touring Kigali city to visit Camp Kigali, the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Nyamata Church, Capalaki Craft Market, and local markets. You will then have lunch and thereafter set head for a Scenic drive to the Northern Province up to Gisenyi in Rubavu on Lake Kivu, arriving late in the evening.

DAY 2. Coffee exploration and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

You will go for Coffee experience after your breakfast after your breakfast, where you will enjoy the stories on how coffee is planted, harvested, processed and finally to the consumer cup. You will learn more about the coffee processing. You will later gain come to the hotel to have lunch and thereafter set off to Volcanoes National Park, reaching in the evening.

DAY 3. Golden monkey tracking and visit Dian Fossey’s graveyard

On this day, wake up early and have your breakfast and assemble at the park headquarters ready for Golden monkey tracking. You will be taken through a short briefing then set of together with park ranger guide and start you trek which takes between 2-6hours depend on where you find the golden monkeys. In the afternoon, you will hike Karisimbi where Dian Fossey was buried and you will be told all the stories about how she protected Gorillas. Getting to our destination in the evening, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi National Park and cultural encounter

You will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge, check out of the room and head to Bwindi National Park in in south western Uganda. You will visit the Batwa community after your lunch where you will experience the life of indigenous people by the way the dance and traditional meals. You should know that these are short pygmies who live in forest and their life depend on the forest. You will later check in the lodge to relax and prepare for the next day.

DAY 5. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi NP and transfer to QENP

Begin this day with an early morning breakfast, and later converge at the Park headquarters for a short briefing about the DO’S and DON’T’S regarding gorilla trekking. Then officially start you gorilla tracking experience together with other team members lead by the ranger guide. Gorilla trekking takes few hours up to full day depending on the movement of these beautiful animals. When you find them, you will be allowed to interact with them for a period of one hour as you take photos. Later you will trek back to the lodge where you will rest for few minutes as you’re having lunch, check out and transfer to the medley of wonders Queen Elizabeth National Park in Ishasha sector where you will sport a number of animals such as antelopes, buffaloes, elephants among others. You will dine and overnight stay.

DAY 6. Early morning Game drive and boat cruise

Early Morning after breakfast, you will set off for Game drive to catch up with early risers before returning to their hiding places. Expected to encounter a variety of game as climbing lions, elephants, Bush bucks, hyenas, Uganda Kobs, lions, buffalos among others. Later you will head to Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise where you will spot a number of attractions such as crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, and different bird species, among others. You will roll back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

DAY 7: Transfer to Kibale and chimpanzee tacking

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out and head to Kibale national park to catch up an afternoon chimp tracking. This park is famous because it’s a home of 13primates including our cousin chimpanzees. You will head to Kanyachu information Centre for a short briefing and later embark on chimpanzee tracking.

The trek will give you a chance to spot other primates like black and white Colobus Monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, varvet monkeys, the Grey Cheeked Mangabeys, Olive Baboons, and over 350 bird species. In the evening, you will check in the accommodation facility to prepare the next day road trip adventure.

DAY 8. Transfer to Kampala

On this day, you will have a relaxed breakfast in the unique Scenic view and check out of the lodge for a 5-6 hours journey to Kampala. You will pass in tea plantations and unique rocks on your road trip to Kampala. You will have a stopover at Mubende for stretching and small snacks. Later, you will proceed to Kampala/Entebbe ad this will mark up the end of the 8 days on tour.
