Gorilla trekking is such an amazing experience that most visitors like to do. On this seven days Uganda gorilla tracking and wildlife safari, you will travel across the beautiful national parks of Uganda such as Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi impenetrable national Park, Lake Mburo
National Park and too you will have a chance to look at the once forest inhabitants, the Batwa
experience.
You will do activities like game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park, you will also do a boat cruise at Kazinga channel and Lake Mburo. Not only the above activities, but you will also do the most selling activity, gorilla trekking and birding and on your last day, you will visit Kampala capital city after which you will fly back home.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your Epic Uganda Vacation guide. Following a brief orientation, we begin our journey westward. Notably, we stop in Fort Portal for lunch before reaching the park.
Day 2: Kazinga Channel & Tree-Climbing Lions
At dawn, we head to the Kazinga Channel for a morning boat cruise. Later, we drive to the Ishasha Sector to search for the legendary tree-climbing lions.
Day 3: Bwindi Forest & Birding
Next, we transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. In the evening, enjoy a guided birding walk along the park’s edge, home to over 330 species.
Day 4: The Gorilla Trek & Batwa Culture
Today is the highlight. After a briefing at the UWA headquarters, you will trek to find the Mountain Gorillas. In the evening, visit the Batwa community to experience their ancient forest traditions.
Day 5: To Lake Mburo National Park
Following breakfast, we drive to Lake Mburo. We stop at the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara to learn about the history of the Ankole people before entering the park.
Day 6: Game Drive & Lake Mburo Cruise
At sunrise, we explore the park, home to the largest population of Burchell’s Zebras in Uganda. In the afternoon, a boat cruise offers chances to see hippos and the rare Shoebill Stork.
Day 7: The Equator & Departure
On our final day, we stop at the Uganda Equator for photos in both hemispheres. We then proceed to Kampala for a quick city tour before your departure flight.

Pro Tip: For the best value, consider visiting in April, May, or November. In 2026, the Uganda Wildlife Authority introduced low-season discounts, reducing Gorilla permits to $600 and Chimpanzee permits to $200 for foreign non-residents.
