3 Days Ssese Islands Tour on Lake Victoria, Epic Uganda vacation

The 3 days Ssese island tour offers tourists a perfect weekend hideaway from all the routine or after a long safari. Ssese if a perfect place to rest offering guests tranquil white-sandy beaches, pristine rainforests and nature at its best. If you are in Kampala, tourists can reach Ssese island via a ferry from Nakiwogo landing site which sets off for Kalangala district at 2:00 pm and arrive in Kalangala by 6:OO PM

Day 1: Take a Ferry to Sesse Island

If starting your tour from Kigali, you will cross the border into Uganda and drive via Mbarara to Masaka driving to Bukakata landing site where you will board a 30 minutes ferry and arrive at Luuku site Kalangala district and drive to Brovad sands lodge.

Day 2: Ssese Island tour

You will have a late breakfast with a relaxed morning and speed the rest of the day relaxing along the white sand of Ssese island. You may explore the forest with great birding opportunities, view monkeys. Have lunch and in the evening have a boat rise along lake Victoria.
Dinner and overnight at Brovad sands Lodge

Day 3: Departure

Today, the ferry sets off by 7:00 am if returning back to Nakiwogo Entebbe, while if returning back to Masaka the ferry sets off by 2 pm. 30 minutes back to Bukakata and drive back to Kigali with drop off at your hotel.

Die Tour war sehr gut organisiert. Das Land ist wunderschön. Hier gibt es schöne abwechslungsreiche Landschaften, viele Vögel und Tiere zu entdecken. Die Lodges waren alle gut ausgewählt, die Zimmer waren gut und auch das Essen war gut.

Despite the long and exhausting drive he was... read more very friendly all the time and told me lot of interessting stories about Uganda and the tours the offer and even bought same snack for me on the road. He knew some shortcuts in Kampala which safed us a lot of time in the crazy traffic.

The price he charged for the ride was very competive. I definitely would recommend anyone to book their Uganda/Rwanda tour/safari with this company.

An excellent birding trip with Epic.
I travelled alone at the beginning of March for 12 days birding with Pic and Moses as my guide. It was an amazing trip... read more where we were able to find almost all my favourite list checks. He is a super nice driver, observant and Soo keen when it comes to his work. We used both mid-range and Luxury lodges whose services and food was supper nice. Am still compiling my report but can't recommend this local agency and Moses as a guide.
